Mercure Sanur for families??

I am considering joining the Accor Club for our next trip. I have crunched the numbers and it would only be beneficial if we stayed at Accor properties for the whole two weeks.

The last week is definitely decided, being the Novotel Apartments in Nusa Dua.

We want to spend the first week in Sanur. The only Accor option there is the Mercure. I have read mixed reviews on the Mercure Sanur.

Can anybody who has visited the Mercure Sanur recently, as a family, provide me feedback??

In particular we like a clean family friendly hotel with 2 bedrooms or inter-connecting rooms and a largish pool area.
