I gave them onto the ground because it was only coins and they wanted notes. At one stage there was a 500rp coin on the footpath and I pointed it out to a little girl and she said that she didn't want to pick it up as it wasn't enough. We also had a boy follow us all the way up JL Legian crying because we gave his 2 sisters 10,000rp each (we bought some fruit off them) and we only gave him 5,000rp (he was not selling anything). He finished up kicking me in the shins before running off swearing at me. I, like someone else said, give to old people and disabled but no longer give to the children.
