I have seen one very clever old lady on JL Kartika plaza, make a sh*t load in one morning, doubt that she's starving! Personally I give to the old, and to the disabled, because I think that 'but for the grace of God, there go I". It's actually an issue i've been thinking a lot about, as I'm due to go to India in December, and I can't do even that there, and usually the disabilities have been created, by some mafia boss. What do you do then? Donate, and be supporting a big king pin? Damned if I know the answer.
