Is to open an account at home in your name, give the Balinese friend the access card, and you can make internet transfers into the account when it suits you. You can transfer in or out of the account via the internet. You could sms your friend to let them know when you have deposited funds.
Dont forget that banks charge a fee/s for each withdrawal overseas, so larger less often withdrawals are prefereable.
