get some flower arrangements, champagne, chocolates in the hotel room and you could do the supermarket shopping for them, so they can arrive and relax. OR you could arrange for them to be taken behind closed doors when arriving at the airport and told if they had someone that could verify their identities they would be free to go, and then you turn up. Only joking... How awful.. stick with something like the first thought.
