Hi Phil, like you I was very concerned about taking my daughter to Bali. She was only 6 on our first visit to Bali, arriving just 3 days after the second bombings. For that reason we decided to stay in Sanur rather than Kuta. I realise that terrorism is a risk no matter where you are, however I felt that seeing as the bombings had occurred in Kuta and at night, Sanur was a safer, not 100% safe, but a safer option than Kuta. We still visit Kuta during the day of course, couldn't miss Water Bom Park, but we don't spend evenings there.
Our fifth trip is coming up in 1 week, 6 days and around 22 hours (not like I'm counting tho!!!!) and we're just hanging out to be there.
