Kuta Townhouses vs Secret Garden

Hey All,
We are coming over to Bali for about 25 days in December/January and are looking at different accomodation in the Kuta area as I am a creature of habit. Last trip we stayed at the Bounty, mainly because we took our 16 year old niece with us. The rooms were clean but it was too noisy for our liking.

This time I looked at different places, I really wanted to stay at Alam Kul Kul but for the length of time I couldn't justify $125 US a night plus $125 a head for compulsory christmas and NY dinners when we always go to Koris for that.

So I am now looking at Kuta Townhouses, staying in a Standard Apartment as it is only the two of us I didnt think we would need a superior???

Or I was also tossing us Secret Garden.

So what I am really saying is guide fellow BTF'ers :)
