We are going to be in Bali the first two weeks in July. We realise that this is school holiday time for lots of areas as well as July and Northern hemisphere summer. So we know there will be plenty of tourists about. But we'd rather not pre book the whole holiday. We have booked our first three days in Sanur but were planning on just being spontaneous and flexible for the remaining time. Will we regret this? Will we have some variety in choosing where to stay? Will prices be that different on site compared to online? We've always tended to travel this way but I must admit, having not been to Bali for many many years, we are a bit anxious that the trip could be negatively impacted by the lack of pre-planning. Your thoughts on this is appreciated.
