As my below post says, bought a camera for my daughter and one for me and was worried about the weight bringing hers back, but thanx for pointing out Thomo there is an upper limit and then you have to pay GST on return.
As I was buying it I mentioned to the Good guys was there a price you should not go over before you had to pay extra on return to Australia and he said no he was sure not. Well that vague memory has come back to haunt me now. Daughters camera was $950, by the sounds of it you can claim $900 per person, I am travelling alone over to Bali! So I cant claim, should of left it and bought in September when we ate all going over!
I think I may have done another silly thing. Receipt is in Husbands name as he was on Good Guys computer - should I go back and get a receipt printed in my name so I can claim my camera?
Starting to panic now leaving in 6 days - all going wrong, have been to dr for letters for medication taking over and found out I need a booster from Hep A shot I got last year and now have to fit in another appointment before I go to Bali to get stuck, just what I need.....
