i have stayed at all three hotels. they are all great hotels and we enjoyed staying at them. however, Mandira has stolen my heart and where we used to stay at a different hotel each time we went, we stayed at Mandira in January and will be back there in three weeks it was so good. Mandira has beautiful grounds, as do the other 2, but i find the mandira more spacious and luxurious. we stayed in the deluxe villas with the outdoor shower and they were beautiful, leaving the other 2 hotels for dead. i find the staff to be very friendly at mandira and grand istana rama but not at legian beach hotel. u cant even sit on the deck chairs facing the ocean at legian beach hotel unless u order food from their fairly expensive resturant. they are all pretty relaxed. grand istana rama was cheaper for us than the other 2 however, i havent stayed there for three years, since they have done the renovations adding apparently another 300 rooms, so it might be a bit noisier now, especially with it only having one pool.
