the Bali Hai Huts are in a little bay called Mushroom Bay, little being the operative word. Not much of a view except the sea, and only a handful of restaurants closeby. It's more of a tourist enclave, I kayaked over there one day and found it boring as not much local activity to watch, mainly upmarket tourists as there is a Waka property there too.

Coconuts has a great view of the village of Jungutbatu and has a range of restaurants next to the long stretch of beach, and also has more village life to observe. It would be an easy 5 minute walk to the start of the village/beach area from Coconuts, and you should be able to observe the seaweed farmers in the late afternoon tending their seaweed farms.

There is also a lovely little bay with a couple of warungs in Coconut Bay which is only a 3 minute walk from Coconuts.

I stay at Playgrounds which is only 2 or 3 properties from Coconuts on the pathway to Jungutbatu. (check out Playgrounds when you are there, Janu or Nyoman would be happy to show you around - they have just added on some nice villas, one with own plunge pool, but they do have a pool at the front of their property with superb view of the bay while swimming)
