Looking at trekking up Gunung Batur, departing from Sanur around 2 am, arrive back around noon, with guide etc. Most likely a date between 23 - 30 July. Have had a quote from Wayan Budiarta as follows:
To climb Batur mountain will cost RP 350 000 per person and minimum 2 person.
The cost will be including : Transport from and to your hotel, mountain guide and mineral water.
Pick up time : 02 00 am and you will be back at the hotel around noon.
Wayan may be in Australia during that time if his visa goes through OK, so I have asked him if he can recommend someone else if he is unable to do the trip.
