We returned from lembongan 5 weeks ago. I searced the BTF and net for accom and weighed up what we really needed as we were staying for 3 days. Our accom was at Lindas bungalows in front of Shipwrecks break which was AUD$12 per night for a twin room. This was fantastic, we required 2 rooms so it was $24 a night. There is no swimming pool, you are right on the beach, there was a restaurant attached which has an extensive cheap menu. No air con, double or twin beds, wardrobe, bathromm with cold showers, verandah, well maintanied gardens, sun lounges and a magnificent view. The rooms were spotless and I would rate like a 3 star bali Hotel but without a pool or air con. There are heaps of accom similar to Lindas around this price range. Or you can
go more upmarket and pay $100 per night in one of the resorts. There is also Playgrounds resort which is about $50-70 per night per room .
As for seeing the island in one day you will only see a little bit of it, depends on what you want to do over there. We hired mopeds from the staff at Lindas and explored the island ( no license required), went snorkelling, surfing, swimming in the ocean and just wandered around. Hopefully shazs will see your post with more info for you
