Double Six Accomdation & Stuff

Hi,
I am going to Bali on July 14th and have been told to stay on double six. I'm wondering if anyone could recommend any GOOD accomodation for about $30 Aus a night?
Also i'm 19 so im interested in the shopping, nightlife and beach, what it like in that area?
