I find it amazing that with tourist numbers so relatively high, that the streets seem so empty.
I expect/guess tourists stay in many varied locations these days rather than mainly the Kuta Legian areas of days gone by. Lots more villas, people head for Seminyak, Amed, Lovina, Ubud etc.
