and unfortunately it is in lower socio economic areas that sees the most obesity amongst kids.I am a teacher and would estimate that 10-20% are overweight, if you saw what some parents pack in their charges lunch boxes you would know why.Another even scarier fact is that our perception of obesity is getting distorted by the amount of overweight people around-what seems normal weight now, was considered overweight 20 years ago, a sobering thought.
Which brings me round to my original rant about kids menus....i feel like im on a soapbox here sorry he he he
