we always pay in aussie dollars, and in our opinion it does not make it quicker to get through, except for the fact you have to wait for your change (just like purchasing something and then getting your change, no problems at all). When you pay in aussie dollars you will get change in rupiahs and it is very handy to have some rupiahs as you exit the airport, as you can use the change for taxi, porters or a cold drink etc. Visa on arrival is a very simple process and the signs are clearly marked, just follow everyone else as you get off the plane as this is where you will all go when you disembark from the plane.

The Dynasty is in a good location and there are restaurants nearby for you which are within walking distance, or a short taxi ride to other popular restaurants.

The dynasty is very family orientated and popular with the children, there are usually plenty of children running around the pool area and activities around the pool everyday such as water-bombing comps, tug-o-war, frog races and bingo, also happy hours in the afternoons at the pool bar. If you were both looking for peace and quiet to read a book by the pool then I would suggest you stay in the lazy pool area which is allocated for adults only, it is a small shallow pool with sun loungers. The food at the dynasty is great and the buffet breakfast is fantastic. Gracie Kellys Irish pub (located in the hotel grounds)has live music a couple of pool tables and your typical pub food. The chinese restaurant at The Dynasty is very good.

Enjoy your holiday!!
