42 days in Bali and East Nusa Tenggara

My kids and I are going to stay 30 days in East Nusa Tenggara, and 2 weeks in Bali. I was advised by the health department to take malaria tabs for the period of our stay in Indo and 7 days after we return. We also got our travel shots:tetanus, hep. A, and thypoid, and polio for me. Now I have a second thought after reading these posties whether to give them malaria tabs or not. Kids are young ages 8-12. I feel uncomfortable to give them every day for 51 days really. Thanks.
