Yes it is malarone that I'm going to use. I'm going on a boat trip from May 1-12. We're flying from Bali to Maumere in Flores and joining the boat there. We're visiting villages during the day and then heading to the next place during the night. From Flores we travel to Savu, Raijua, and arrive in Sumba at Waingapu on May 8 and transfer to Waikelo in West Sumba May 9. From there we head back to Flores, Komodo and Sumbawa.
Because we will be at sea at night, the trip organiser doesn't take anything for malaria. She just uses deet. I don't know what advice to give you. It's a tricky one. I haven't taken malarone before.
We have 3 days in Bali before and after. I'm really looking forward to the holiday.
