I stayed there with my daughter in October last year for 12 days and thought it was great. The staff are lovely. The bufffet breakfast was good, great choice of food, including Indonesian dishes. We had a deluxe room - 2 single beds and outdoor balcony area. It was very clean and perhaps the only thing that may be a problem,if you had mobility issues,was the shower was over the bath. The gardens around the hotel are lovely and the new foyer area is beautiful with an area to sit looking over the pools and out to the beach. I liked the outdoor pool lounge area in that you could look out over the beach without being off the hotel grounds. (Thus could keep your distance from the hawkers on the beach if you didn't feel like being hassled.) The pool area is well maintained, big pool with a swim-up pool bar. If you want to eat outside of the hotel, there are plenty of good places to eat at night in the streets close by, altho taking a torch if walking would be a good idea. It can be quite dark and the streets are a bit dangerous with open drain holes and broken pavement.
We really enjoyed our stay and I'm going back again 3 weeks for another 8 days there with my husband. I think you will enjoy your stay there.
