Kuta - Legian - Tuban

I've been in Kuta 4 years ago and I'll return in August..is it changed in 4 years? How far are Legian and Tuban from Kuta? What is the best beach for surf? What is the area with more restaurants and bar? Thanks for your reply!! :-)
