Yes last trip i travelled to Bali with jetstar.
For starters upon arriving at the airport to depart, we were told the plane is 2 hours delayed. This was new years eve by the way, we were planning on arriving at about 10pm and hit the town to see in the new year. So that plan went out the window, we arrived late.
I reclined my chair a little bit, and the button that locks it into position broke and then the chair continued to rock forwards and backwards for 6 hours, the air hostesses didnt care!!!
No food or drinks (budget airline) if u want a blanket, be prepared to pay $12!!
Also my friend who i was travelling with had a 1 yr old bub with her and sitting behind her was 2 drunk men, getting stuck into their duty free wild turkey under their seats, then they were poking their hand thru the seats touching my friends face. The air hostesses did nothing. One of the guys then hit another passenger, the air hostesses still did nothing. Then one of the guys stood up and looked as if he was about to vomit all over my friend and baby. By this stage many people were also complaining, air hostesses still did nothing, the pilot then came out and talked to the men. Told them that if their behaviour doesnt improve they will be arrested upon arrival. During landing they were not seated. Air hostesses did nothing!! When we got in the terminal they just walked thru, no arrest or anything!!!! it was disgraceful!!!
Then on the trip back, the luggage allowance is 20kgs, anything over that is $15AUD per kilo, they are very strict with this rule!!!! My suitcase weighed in at 27kgs, so i was hit with $105. I know other airlines are way more leniant than that!!!!!
So Jetstar is a budget airline, I knew that before travelling, but dont expect anything!!!
I wont be flying jetstar again.
To continue the new years eve saga (this is not jetstars fault tho), we arrived at our motel at 230am in the pouring rain to find that there was no booking held for us. So we had to find a new place to stay, which was not easy on one of the busiest night of the year in Bali. After trying about 6 different places we found somewhere. The holiday got of to a bad start, but got heaps better when the sun was shining in the morning!!!!
