It's not worth worrying about getting a Bali sim. Just ring your phone provider and have your phone set to global roaming before leaving home. SMS's will cost less than in Australia.
If you have a pre paid phone, some plans can't globally roam, so if this is the case have the phone company unlock your phone (if your contract allows it) and then you can use a Bali sim.
