Bali Garden Resort + other things

Hi,

I'm off to Bali, for the first time, on the 1st of May. I've chosen the Bali Garden Resort as my hotel. Has anyone stayed here before? Is it any good. I realise its 3 star, so it's not going to be the Hilton. Any help would be great. I think I'm booked into a Superior room. I know its got an in-room safe, which I always look for, but any other advice would be good.

ALso one more thing, whats the average price to pay for a t-shirt, or shorts. I've been to Thailand a couple of times, so I don't mind barganing. If I know roughly how much I should pay, that would be good.
