the only one I know to use Beagles. These dogs did regular patrols, to try and sniff out any explosives,during my stay in August. Also one of the best CCTV set ups I have seen in Bali. As well as the security that are visible, there is a team of guards doing patrols of the hotel. While one or two individuals may let the team down, that is the same world over. All in all I think BGH is one of the better hotels security wise. And I am talking from an extensive 18 years in security, 5 of those in security risk assesment and independant auditing.
