We enjoyed it. We had a car otherwise I would've felt a bit too away from things. Hubby just loved being so close to the great surfing beaches so much so that he is considering buying a time share there.
Karen, what is the annual maintenance fee, please? And was it $2,500 Aussie dollars or US? We were told $4K US - did you talk them down?
I really liked their environmental ideas - only changing linen, towels twice weekly & being able to refill water bottles. There is a great supermarket nearby (not walking distance, tho) and restaurants both at and on the way to Ulus. I'd be happy to spend a week a year there as long as I get a daily outing and could spend at least another week in a more convenient location for shopping.
It's a lovely place & it would be perfect for those who enjoy relaxing by a pool in pleasant surroundings.
