I think what most people tell is the truth...it did cost about $5000 to get it to Australia, but thats just the freight port to port!!! They fail to mention all the other fun stuff that gets added.
Transport to Surabaya etc, unload, AQIS random inspections $900 and the list goes on!!!
I've been using various 'transport' for my stock over the last 10 years and have been using an agent for the last 6 shipments.
We have the opportunity to share a container with a friend for our next buying trip but have decided to spend the extra and continue using the agent (it worked out we'd save about $1500 on a smooth run with no hic coughs, if we shared - i'd rather invest the $1500 knowing that i dont have to do a damm thing nor stress).
Hopefully this forum helps others who think the whole process is easy and cheap to do.
So what are you doing with all your 'experiments"?
