haven't even fully admitted to wife the whole cost of my experimental container to Canberra otherwise she will never let me forgot that too as well as the boxes full of unsold wood carvings, necklaces and damaged statues and water fountains cloggy up our garage and driveway!
While the $350m3 price might seem high compared to the "cost" of a whole container of $3000- $4000 that agents quoted for comparison thats usually just the cost of sea freight component, when I added on all the other local loading/packing and transport to Java port, fumigation, port charges and include import duty and GST, and australian delivery ($1000 to canberra with 2hr unloading time - $50 per hour waiting time after that) I hate to admit it come to over $10000....(or I was completey ripped off compared to the other people who tell me it shoul cost less than $5000)
