if the cabin space allocated to my seat is taken up I ask the hostess or steward to take the items out so mine can go in. they usually oblige.
I get glares and muttering from the people who belong to the items but stiff cheedar.
my space so I get first dibs.
I take my one bag, a small cabin one, and usually a handbag or shoulder bag, if we have bought duty free then that goes in also.
dont know that I have ever exceeded the 7kgs cos I dont really want to lug it round anyway.
I usually travel business now to Bali so it isnt as bad as it is in economy but people will still try and utilise your space, annoys me no end !!!!
