Our passport office is jammed because last week a new law went into effect that everyone flying to the U.S. needs a passport. So naturally the line-ups are huge. I know someone who has been trying for a week, but we leave Friday. I know about the 24 hour emergency option, but you need a good reason. Just wondering if anyone knows if "we leave friday and spent $ 2250 per person" is a good reason? I have tried to phone, but always busy.
Also, I am trying to phone the Indonesian Consulate here in Canada to see if they can do anything. Is this an option?
