Who on earth would think it's a good deal to increase their travel costs by adding a return domestic airlfare as well as a hotel night in Melbourne? My last trip to Bali in September pushed up my costs by over $500...$280 on the domestic fares, a tick under $200 on the room and the balance in meals etc. And for what?... a night in Melbourne at the airport hotel. How exciting. Not! At this point, Singapore airlines is looking very nice indeed...if it's going to cost me more then at least I'd like to get something good for money. Sorry Garuda...as much as I love flying with you to Bali, I don't love it that much. Singpaore airlines fly daily out of Adelaide - have done for years through good and bad. Garuda have made a biz decision to desert Bribane, Adeladie and NZ. Fine. Thanks for the memories and hello Singapore airlines.
