I have read your post with mixed emotions.I have many great memories of eating wonderfully cooked fresh seafood,drinking cold bintangs and watching beautiful sunsets.Over the years I think the charm wore off,with the dozens of large busloads of tourists choking the roads in and out,a lot of sub-standard warungs and too much smoke.Did I mention that some idiot bombed it in 2005? Lets hope that the beach and foreshore etc. is given back to the village and that they may have permission in the future to rebuild their businesses in more secure way.
