we flew home 2 weeks ago and garuda had double sold the seats on our plane. though they admitted it was all their fault, people were being asked to stay another night so they could rebook the plane for the next day. check in was the slowest i've ever seen it and i'm sure there were plenty of peeved passengers that lined up for ages just to be told they weren't going home.
its one thing to get another night in bali but when its not at your discretion it can be a little annoying.
