I am going from Auckland in June. I have to fly to Sydney, pick up my bags, go through immigration, go to check in, put my bags onto another flight, go through immigration again, and all for a much much higher cost.
This will be my 15th and possibly (sadly) last trip to Bali - Thailand just seems much easier.
