you can fly to either sydney or melbourne and connect with garuda or maybe fly singapore airlines have a few days in singapore and add on bali. Either way your holiday has just gotten a lot more expensive, but as far as getting to bali quickly flying to brunei will only take you longer in flight times, we too are having this problem, a cheap holiday in bali is sadly for us kiwis a thing of the past.
