I have read somewhere that if they get married on a tourist visa they will still have to return to Bali in accordance with that visa, and then they need to apply for a spouse visa. I suggest you read all the information on the Immigration Department's website as it can be a very long, involved and expensive exercise from what I understand. I know others on here have gained a lot of information from a closed forum site called Our Indonesian Men - you would be able to find a link on here by doing a search on OIM.
