upgrades

We flew home to Melbourne on the 16th January and I asked about upgrading our tickets. The cost would have been $200 per person. The reason I checked this out was because we were 14 kgs over our allowance and got charged $210 by Jetstar. In star class you get an alowance of 30 kgs. It still meant we would have paid more money on top of up-grading one ticket to get our luggage home. (i.e we still would have to pay an extra $60 @ $15 a kg for the extra 4 kgs plus the $200 for the upgrade)
