we lost the keys to our cases. I told the chap at Customs that he'd have to break into the suitcase containing stuff they needed to look at(regular lock, as opposed to padlock), and he ended up getting me to describe what I had to declare. I thought I'd lose both vanilla beans and saffron flowers, but he was okay with them and told us to go home and break into the case at our leisure! We had to lever the case open with two screwdrivers (case kaput, naturally) and then we FOUND THE KEYS!!!
