unless you are a registered charity. Garuada only give 5kgs now even if you are a charity.
Secret is to not take so much stuff for yourself. If you are travelling in a group they will let you check your luggage together so the amounts can add up.
We just took a stripey bag with qantas no problems. It weighed 20kg by itself but came in under cos our stuff didn't add up to as much.
Coming home i'm sure we were over. 1 girl had 29kg mine was 18kg going over so would have been just over perhaps. We just chatted to them about nothing much and we got through no excess. Very surpriesed cos everyone here saying they are really tough now.
