Hi Laney, we have just returned from the Patra last week and the beach rejuvenation program has started and the estimated completion date is next year. Yes it can be a bit noisy with the Catepillars and concrete mixers going on - but to be honest - you do tend to blank out the noise after a while. There is more noise from the planes taking off from the airport! Yes it is a bit intrusive, yes it is a bit noisy - unfortunately as it will take approximately a year to finish, then I would stay elsewhere if it is going to be an issue. it wasnt an issue for us - but I guess some might be disturbed by it.
