Just speaking to Garuda Auckland Head Office and was told that Garuda would not be reinstating this service this year. It looks like the trip over the ditch to Syd will have to be done. A good way to lose a lot of NZ tourists to Bali (I don't mean having to go to Sydney - that's a bonus, - I mean they are making it more difficult and more expensive to get to Bali).
