Numbers of Japanese, Taiwanese and Australian visitors (who used to be the majority of foreign guests) are still far below the figures in the past.
In spite of that, the official figures of incoming foreign tourists are nearly back to the best of times but they consist more of visitors from Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, and recently also Europe and the Americas.
High seasons in Bali are July/August because of the cool weather and holiday seasons in Europe and Australia, and, in spite of the rainy season, X-mas/New Year.
