I agree with all you have to say about the Tegal Sari. Also their laundry service is about the equal of street prices and they pick up and deliver to your room. My tastes run more to hearty than haute, so the Nuriani Restaurant, next to the Tegal was my favorite. I loved that tub in #23. I'd fill it before I went to bed around 9pm. And when I got up at 2am. I'd top it off with hot water, throw open the windows, light the mosquito coil, light a cigar and get in the tub with a cup of Bali kopi. Heaven!!! I was so pleased, that as we checked out on Feb. 3rd, 2006 I made reservations for Feb. 23 -March 3 of this year for #24. The privacy of #24 and that day bed on the balcony will make a perfect spot for afternoon sunbathing. What a wonderful hotel! jingles
