in the 80's, accomodation was minimal but we were only 19 and didn't care. The first Kentucky opened while i was there and we didn't know if it was rats or chicken lol. I would jump on the back of a bike and just take off, not a care in the world, never knowing where we were sleeping that night. Now i'm older, much older and need the comforts of a good bed and fine food. Bali may have change with the times, slowly, but Bali is still bali and the balinese still have that same smile, they are all still there happy slow pace selves while i am now on husband #2 and still remember the good ol days in Bali. Only now with someone else lol..Cheers
