We stayed at the Sofitel in 2005 & again in June this year & will be choosing it for our next trip in 07'. Great hotel, yummy breakfasts, choice of several excellent restaurants, 2 divine pools (though lots of German pool lounge hogs!)large spacious rooms & right on the beach.
It's also a comfortable walk to loads of restaurants, nightclubs & shopping. Can highly recommend a driver who works out of the Sofitel, his name is Major, speaks good english & is quite amusing. I can give you his mobile if you are interested.
