I went for chili crab at the Batun Waru in Ubud - just a short walk from UVH. Great, but expensive by Ubud standards. But a lot to eat...and you had prawns and octopus as WELL! I saw one family who didn't have the money to pay. The restaurant handled it very well, I must say. It probably happens often enough because most meals in Ubud are so inexpensive.
Who no swimming? Same as when I was there - too cool?
