My husband doesn't like Bali much - after a week or 2 with me he heads off to other islands following the surf, so I am used to being here alone (in Bali now), as I will be from next Tues for a while. I quite enjoy being my own boss.
It really helps to wear a ring on the ring finger of your left hand and if anyone asks say your husband is surfing or something - best to not let them know you're alone, especially at night. Enjoy:)
