I personally found his comments offensive. Of course he can make such 'glowing' recommendations when he flies 'executive' class, stays in 5 star hotels ang gets treated like royalty. I would be interested to know if he spent time sharing a Bintang and some conversation with any of the locals. Did he eat at a local Warung? Did he find a driver off the street to take him on a day trip? And I found his comment that the Balinese are 'genuinely delighted to serve you' insulting and sanctimonious. He may think he is helping the cause but his snobbery shines through. He could have gone just about anywhere else in the world and his reports would have been the same. Methinks I would be more inclined to listen to someone who actually goes to Bali and not someone who goes to visit hotels and be 'served'
