When you barter shop it is hard to compare prices to fixed price shops as you could end up paying anything by bartering. For example at ubud market my mum bought a pair of leather shoes to wear around (comfy ones) and paid about 60 000RP, she liked them so next day bought a pair for 40,000RP. The next day the stall holders could see her wearing shoes and the price dramatically reduced to 20 000Rp. If bought in Geneva - probably would have paid about 25 000RP. So its kinda hard to say...... But I think the saving in not having to muck around is worth it in a fixed price context if you have limited time.
p.s. yes it is in Kuta
