This scenario happened a few years ago at Santika Beach Hotel, but one of those moments that has stuck in my head.
The lovely balinese masseuse was handing out vouchers around the pool that entitled you to a free 15 minute massage. Now of course as most people would know, this clever marketing is to get you to try before you buy your one hour of bliss.
Not so for the loud mouthed Scot from Melbourne and his wife. One of those people that can't have a discreet conversation but feels the need to share with all other guests.
He and his wife over a few days managed to collect 8 of these vouchers and yes you guessed it proceeded to harrass the massuese until he got a one hour free massage for both himself and his wife.
She tried to explain that the promotion was for 15 free minutes - but no he was going to win this argument.
Shame on you.
